2 Pounds of Cannabis Also Recovered LaSalle – At approximately 1:53 p.m., on January 4, 2013, Illinois State Police were conducting routine patrols near I -80 eastbound, mile post 83, when a vehicle was stopped for speeding. A black, 1993 Honda Accord, was stopped and during a conversation with the driver of the Honda Accord, the officer detected an odor of cannabis. A probable cause search was conducted which revealed 2 pounds of suspected cannabis and a loaded, sawed-off 12 GA. shotgun. Police arrested the driver, Jamison Wojciechowski, 23 of Crestone, CO., and charged him with Possession of Cannabis. The passenger, Jessie Jones, 18 of Moffat, CO., was also arrested and charged with Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Possession of an Altered Firearm. |
